The filter utilizes multilayer filter medium, with graded pore size from coarse (upstream) to fine (downstream), which offers a higher dirt-holding capacity and make it an economical, high accuracy filter cartridge with nominal and absolute removal efficiency.

The Masterfilter PreFil HFPB series of high flow pleated cartridges are a perfect replacement for high flow bag filter and available in a wide range of pore sizes and provide reliable high performance in many applications. The undesirable particles are contained within the filter element due to the inside to outside flow direction. This results in a much lower chance that the clean downstream side of the filter housing will be contaminated when changing the filter cartridge.

Masterfilter IFGG series filter housings are manufactured for filtration of gases. They are available in 2.5, 5 mini, 5, 10, 20 and 30 inches lengths. The housings are marked with a unique serial number for traceability. The IFGG series is available with a range of industrial compliant venting options.

The Masterfilter LCFG enclosed filter housings consisting of a bottom part with three legs and a detachable housing dome. The bottom part with the inlet and outlet socket contains the centering and mounting unit for holding the lenticular filter with a flat adapter or double O-ring adapter type.

The connection between the flat bottom part and the housing dome is designed through a quick closure device like V-band clamp or Rathermann clamp. The module filter housings are available in different sizes and designs.

Masterfilter MBC is a high flow polypropylene (PP) melt blown filter cartridge without core. It is fusing and intertwined of polypropylene resin without any chemical glues. The cartridges are thermal bond at random to form 3D micro pore which will make the cartridge 3 layers with fine fibres in surface and coarse fibres and deep filtration. Large diameter extends to very high filtration surface area and high flow rate.

Masterfilter MBK-A absolute rated polypropylene cartridges are constructed by 5-8 graded layers. MBK-A offers consistent retention characteristics and a high level of security that is enhanced by the option to connect o-ring seal adapters on the cartridge.

The Masterfilter SpunFil MBN melt blown series are made of Nylon melt blown depth media without surfactants, binders or adhesives and are manufactured in a clean room class 10,000 to provide ab excellent quality. The MBN has been developed for applications where polypropylene filters cannot be used. The melt blown Nylon cartridges are suitable for high temperature applications as well as applications where solvents, hydrocarbons and aromatics are involved. The MBN can be delivered optionally with open ends on both sides or with standard adapters.

Masterfilter PESE filter cartridges feature a unique single layer, asymmetric hydrophilic polyethersulphone membrane. Masterfilter PVDN filter cartridges are manufactured from an inherently hydrophilic PVDF membrane that offers a broad chemical and temperature resistance. Characterised by its low protein binding properties, the PVDN series is ideal for bioburden reduction, clarification and sterilisation of pharmaceutical and biological solutions. The PVDN cartridges are available in multiple pore sizes with single-layer PVDF membrane. The membranes are easily wettable and fully integrity testable to meet the pharmaceuticals levels for sterility assurance.

Masterfilter RBC filters are manufactured from fibres bonded together by a resin, thereby creating rigid graded density depth filters. Resin bonded filters are available either as the AP (Acrylic fibre bonded with Phenolic resin) or as the CM (Cellulose fibre bonded with Melamine resin). Bonding the fibres with the resin, creates a rigid pore structure that allows the filter to be used in demanding process conditions, such as high temperatures, high viscosities and with aggressive chemicals.

The Masterfilter SDF-M stainless steel pleated felt cartridges are composed of stainless steel sintered felt shaped during the pleating process. These cartridges have a large filtration area with high flow rates and low pressure drops. The unique stainless steel felt is made from stainless steel fibers which have been sintered to form a high porous depth filtration material. The SDF-M filter cartridges features include a graded pore size from coarse (upstream) to fine (downstream), which results in a higher dirt holding capacity with an excellent filtration efficiency and longer service life. These filters are widely used in steam filtration or liquids with high viscosities.

The Masterfilter SDF-P series pleated stainless steel wire cloth cartridges are composed of 316 stainless steel wire cloth. The pleated structure provides a larger filtration area which results in longer service life and higher flow rates. The SDF-P cartridges have a superior strength and thermal resistance which makes this filter ideal for high pressure and temperature applications.

The Masterfilter SDF-S series filter cartridges are constructed with stainless steel powder. First shaped under pressure and then sintered under high temperature based on y unique technology and strict production process. High mechanical strength, high temperature resistance and cleanability are the main features of the SDF-P cartridge filters.

Masterfilter SLF-G filter cartridges are composed of super-fine glass micro fiber which has a dirt holding capacity over 90%. They are designed for filtration of air and gas. Due to the high removal efficiency, SLF-G cartridges offer high process security, with high volume gas streams and can withstand high differential pressures at low pressure drop and stringent in-line steam sterilisations.

Masterfilter SLF-L hydrophobic PTFE filter cartridges are composed of hydrophobic PTFE membrane. Its features include exceptional organic and inorganic corrosion resistance and inherently hydrophobicity. They are highly recommended for the pre-filtration and sterile filtration of strong solvents, highly corrosive fluids and strong oxidant fluids.

Masterfilter SLF-T filter cartridges manufactured with permanently hydrophobic PTFE membranes are designed for sterile filtration of air and gas. Due to their permanent hydrophobicity, SLF-T cartridges offer high process security, with high volume gas streams and can withstand high differential pressures and stringent in-line steam sterilisations.
